The story of Poggio delle Crete begins among the olive groves of Palombara Sabina, where our family began producing oil over two centuries ago.

Over the years, the business expanded to Tuscany, where our great-grandfather, at the Tenuta di Maremmello estate, was awarded the title of owner of the largest olive grove in the region in 1930. Today, the business extends to Vetralla, in the heart of the Viterbo-based Tuscia region.
For generations, we have cultivated the same passion for the land, caring for each tree with respect and dedication, to transform our experience into an oil that tells the story of the family and the land.

An oil that comes from centuries-old olive trees

In the Pian delle Crete area, at almost 300 metres above sea level, we grow olive trees of the following varieties:
 Caninese and Leccino , many of which are over 250 years old.

The small drupe of the Caninese variety, resistant to the olive fruit fly, allows us to cultivate without chemical treatments , preserving the purity of the fruit and its authentic taste.

The result is a natural, intense and harmonious extra virgin olive oil , with a characteristic spicy flavor that testifies to its quality.
